The Aftermarket Industries 0 psi to 150 psi Absolute Fuel Pressure Sensor (PSIA) is an OEM grade sensor and was the FIRST ever fuel pressure sensor to feature a -8AN thread which is compatible with the Turbosmart FPR2000 Fuel Pressure Regulator; Simply secure the Fuel Pressure Sensor to the -8AN port marked as "OUT" on the Turbosmart Regulator (package includes one (1) viton -8AN oring).

Absolute Pressure Sensor vs Gauge Pressure Sensor

Aftermarket Industries, in this instance, opted for an Absolute Sensor due to several reasons:

• Absolute pressure is zero-referenced against perfect vacuum, so it is equal to gauge pressure plus atmospheric pressure. (Gauge pressure is zero-referenced against ambient air pressure, so it is equal to absolute pressure minus atmospheric pressure - negative signs are usually omitted)
