Troubleshooting Common Issues & Checklist: PLEASE CONDUCT THIS ASSESSMENT PRIOR TO MAKING CONTACT

• Loss of Fuel Pressure:
  • Check ALL fuel hoses for potential leaks (both internal & external hoses)
  • Check vacuum lines
  • Check ALL wiring:
    • Was the fuel system wired using the correct gauge, type & amp rated wire as specified by Aftermarket Industries? (example - is the 10 AWG wire 22759/34)
      • We will require evidence by way of photos & dated receipts
    • Are the pins/lugs used rated to the specifications required?
    • Is/are the relay/s rated to the specifications required?
    • Are the pins correctly positioned and correlate with the correct locations for power/ground
  • Check voltage
    • Check voltage across the entire range; base pressure up to the instance fuel pressure loss begins to occur (ensure engine protection protocols are active to avoid any damage)
  • Check the OEM or aftermarket fuel pressure sensor
  • Check that the fuel pump/s is/are operational
  • Check fuel filters
  • Check the fuel pressure regulator
• Electrical Connector is Hot or Damaged
  • Check wiring:
    • Was the fuel system wired using the correct gauge, type & amp rated wire as specified by Aftermarket Industries?
      • We will require evidence by way of photos & dated receipts
    • ​Check ground
      • ​Ground must be clean and uninterrupted
• ​​​Fuel Surge
  • ​Check that the fuel pump/s is/are operational
  • Check the fuel level sender
    • ​Fuel level senders often fail and can trigger false readings
    • Fuel level senders can jam; check that the fuel level has free movement and was not damaged during installation
    • Fuel level sender position; ensure the fuel level sender is in the EXACT same position as the OEM position
